About Electra

Electra Media Group opened for business on 1 May 1994. It was originally established to provide representation services in south-east Asia for English-language publishers.

By the late 1990s Electra was providing creative services to publishers in Australia, the USA and Britain. We have  created a wide range of books for Grolier, Franklin Watts, Gareth Stevens, Heinemann-Raintree and others.

In 2010 Electra began publishing a range of books for school students aged 10-16. Under the Trocadero imprint, these cater primarily for the National History Curriculum.

A series of titles for primary school levels was recently created for Bauer Media under their Australian Geographic History imprint.
