This was one of the many designs commissioned by Tooth & Company to promote its Resch’s Pilsener brand. They were usually one-off illustrations painted directly on the inside or outside walls of pubs on whatever size space was available. Most of the designs depicted sporting pursuits, in this case sailing on Sydney Harbour.
