Boeing 377 Stratocruiser

The Stratocruiser was one of several aircraft types bought by BOAC to fill gaps in its fleet following the withdrawal of its Comets and ongoing delays with the Britannia program. The Stratocruiser with its downstairs lounge was a favourite with passengers, however, its unreliability made it less so with flight and technical crews.
