British Caledonian Airways – B-Cal
Boeing 707-373C
British Caledonian operated Boeing 707s in the 1970s. The airline was formed by the merger of Caledonian Airways and British United Airways in 1970. Despite having a good public image B-Cal struggled to reach the necessary operating economics and was sold to British Airways in 1988. BA used the Caledonian name for its AirTours subsidiary.
