Fokker F.27-100 Friendship at Brisbane 1960s

QAL was part of the Butler Air Transport (BAT) group which was taken over by Ansett Transport Industries in 1958. This Fokker Friendship was its first modern aircraft. Previously all of QAL’s services in southern Queensland were operated by Douglas DC-3s.
